To celebrate Spring's official arrival, we decided to plant our own seeds that would later be moved out to our garden. March 20th was beautiful. Containers and seeds were purchased. Kids were excited. No potting soil. Then this happened.

Don't you just love Spring in our neck of the woods. Today was another sunny day, after yet another 6 inches of snow, and this time we had everything we needed.

The kids really enjoyed this part of the project. The messy part. I hope they enjoy tending to their seeds and moving them out to the garden. The boring part. Most of all, I hope they enjoy the fruits of their labor come summer. The yummy part.

Good-bye March.

So fun! We have been growing seeds in our kitchen for the last couple of weeks. It is so fun to watch them grow!
