It is interesting how children turn the smallest of holidays into fun. In the past, St. Patricks day has usually come and gone. Generally without the corn beef and cabbage, usually with a hint of green. Not this year. Elli made sure Ripp went to work dressed appropriatley, while Will spent the day telling me that he "knows my shirt really isn't green. I'm going to pinch you."

This year, green was everywhere, thanks to my trusty little bottle of magic dye (Elli isn't sure what to belive). French toast, milk and cookies were transformed using the magic of the leprechaun. We even braved the Fun Park frenzy and enjoyed some irish dancing. Even the beginners have fancy costumes and really fast feet. Everyone went to bed happy, Will woke up with body aches and a sore throat. I wonder what is in that magic dye.

Happy St. Patty's!

How fun! We only did green scrambled eggs, which the kids wouldn't eat. :) Oh, well.
