do love me a good burger

i was just over on my cousin britt's food blog, skinny bovines kitchen (over there--->), and was reading about her vegan energy bars. i just had to giggle when she states that she could never really be a vegetarian and does "love me a good burger". it reminded me, cue salivatoin, of the grilled burger that i had been craving for weeks that i finally indulged in last night. thanks to ripp dragging me on a two hour bike ride, it was well deserved and quickly ingested. i just have to share. with the weather turning and your grill eager to light up, consider a twist on your old favorite. grilled burger, toasted bun, carmelized onions, melted blue cheese (just a little for me, thanks) and bacon!!! combined with a cold drink, good friends and some seriously funny stories...heaven on my back patio.
