Rooming with my Grammy has lots of perks. Good food, really good night sleeps and a bit more time to simply enjoy my children. Yesterday, while the temps hovered in the 30's, we bundled up to walk around the block and feed the ducks. My children have been lots of times with Granny, but never with me. Soon the ducks sweet little hangout along the canal will be completely iced over and they'll have to move back up to 1st Dam for the rest of the season. It was a feeding frenzy.

I am going to enjoy this quiet life at Grammy's while I can. The 27th will hopefully bring our new house closing, followed by the moving, unpacking and settling frenzy.
